We Did It!!!!

I have not done a *big* craft show, ever. Luckily, I have a good friend who knows what she's doing!!! There is nothing like having someone to hold your hand and walk you through set up, team selling and the break down. I want to publicly THANK LISA for all the insight and knowledge she shared with me this weekend.
Yesterday morning we met at the Katy High School gym and set up our booth... Bam!Bam!Bam!
We were done and we were immediately met with customers hungry for bows and Boutique clothing!!! We spent the better part of our day writing tickets and chatting with new friends and old!! So many of our Pink Zebra customers came by to visit, to see what was new and chat with us!!
I have to tell you how awesome Lisa, Knot Your Average Bow, is!!! A customer comes in, can't quite find the exact bow, so Lisa offers to make it while the lady shops around. So Lisa sits at her bow making set up and makes CUSTOM bows and headbands RIGHT THERE!!! HOW cool is that?? The EPITOME of customer service!!! (If only I could make my sewing machine so portable... NOT!!) It was so cool, to write up a ticket, put it in line and watch her amazing technique right there!!!
Anyhow, the show was a success. I enjoyed myself, and Lisa too.
The ability to get out there and meet people, introduce people to my baby, the Pink Zebra, was amazing. I met so many neat people and took some very special orders, for very special people. I am so touched. I feel so good about what I do and am validated for making the right choice for what I do.
All it took was one weekend.
